SAMMs

The SAMMs have been a breed Jacob has been fascinated by for a long time, and a few years ago he finally got the chance to start his own flock with the purchase of some ewes from the Kitzan Family.  All his sheep are registered (through the Merino registry) and enrolled in the NSIP system.  We focus on raising sheep that have the number data to help move the sheep industry forward, but also have a good phenotype for the show ring.  We believe that the breed is functional for the show ring and the production system.

Pictured on the right is my breeders flock at the 2018 MN State Fair. The two ram lambs are 804 and 805, the two ewe lambs are 819 and 831.
